Raices Collection

Raíces Collection is a line that goes beyond fashion, connecting with something deeper: our roots, our traditions, and the skilled hands of the Peruvian artisans who inspire us.

This collection was born as a tribute. A tribute to those talented women who, with dedication and patience, have kept traditional techniques of weaving, interlacing, and crochet alive, passing them down from generation to generation. We wanted to honor their art and, at the same time, share it with the world, giving it a contemporary twist.

We focused on highlighting techniques such as crochet, macramé, woven leather, and frame weaving, using fibers like alpaca, so emblematic of our culture. These techniques are not only part of their tradition, but they also tell stories: stories of effort, creativity, and love for what they do. That’s why we decided to integrate them into our designs, even in leathers that replicate these textures, so that each shoe becomes a unique and meaningful piece.

Every detail in this collection has been handcrafted. We use materials like raffia, textured leathers, cords, and more. More than just accessories, they are pieces of art that combine the best of craftsmanship with a cutting-edge approach.

At Canella, we always strive to be disruptive and different, creating unique pieces that break from the conventional. While keeping the brand’s DNA with our iconic pointed toes and square heels, we explore new shapes and silhouettes that will set trends. This time, we did it from a very special place: a place that celebrates the power of women’s work, the strength of our traditions, and the beauty of handmade creations.
